Open Positions for our Headquarters located in St-Zotique, Québec, Canada  

CNC Automation is a national supplier of high technology equipment. Our primary market segment is the secondary wood processing sector. We are presently seeking professional candidates to fulfill positions in our Software division. The positions are for a Technical Software Customer Support Representative and a Specialty Applications Programmer, these are permanent full-time positions within our organization. 

Our headquarters are located in Western Québec, close to highway 20 and at 12 kilometers from the Ontario border, highway 401. However and depending upon the selected positions, there are possibilities in being assigned to work from home. 

Candidates possessing knowledge and or aptitudes in the below items will be highly considered:   

  • Bilingual, English / French, written and spoken 
  • Microsoft Office Products 
  • EIA-274D Standards 
  • Fanuc Style Numerical Control language 
  • General CAD/CAM
  • Microsoft Visual Studio – VB6 & VB.NET / C++, C# 
  • Post-Processor development or modification experience 
  • Experience in developing User Interfaces 
  • AFL/Macro programming

Though not essential, applicants benefitting from experience in kitchen cabinets manufacturing, architectural millwork and or production environments associated to the secondary wood processing sector are going to be advantageously considered.

CNC Automation, un fournisseur national d’équipements de hautes technologies agissant principalement dans le domaine de la transformation secondaire du bois ouvré est présentement à la recherche de professionnels pouvant comblés des postes de Support Technique Informatique à la Clientèle et ou des postes de Programmeurs pour Applications Spéciales, ces postes sont des positions permanentes. 

L’accès à notre entreprise se fait à partir de la sortie #12 de l’Autoroute 20 Ouest. Cependant, et selon le cas, certaines de ces positions peuvent-êtres associés à de possible assignation en « télé travail » soit à partir de la résidence personnelle. 

Les candidats bénéficiant de connaissances et ou des aptitudes dans les items suivants seront hautement considéré; 

  • Bilingue, français / anglais, parlé et écrit 
  • Produits de bureautique Microsoft 
  • Standard EIA-274  
  • Familiarité avec langage de type contrôleur numérique Fanuc 
  • Connaissance générale en DAO/MAO

Although we are active in multiple marketplaces, we are mainly a National Distributor of Woodworking Equipment to the Secondary Wood Sector, i.e. Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers, Architectural Mill Work Shops, Flooring, Doors & Windows, Furniture, etc… CNC Automation has been in operation for over 30 years now, we are a solid established company with sales across Canada.

We are looking for an apprentice or recent graduate in Electro Mechanic, this position is a permanent position which following the completion of our internal training plan may lead to an External Service Technician position or to other positions in our company.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be called upon to visit our extensive customer base primarily located in the Province of Ontario. There might be Inter Provincial service visits required, these are coordinated and evenly shared with other of our Field Service Technicians located throughout our country.

We are looking for individuals having experience and or knowledge of CNC Controls, Electro-pneumatic, ability to read and understand electrical prints, able to master various software applications.

Experience in the secondary wood processing sector is an asset but not mandatory. We are a foreword thinking company, therefore self starters and individuals requiring minimum supervisions will find a long term career opportunity with CNC Automation.

Our present openings are for Senior as well as Junior Field Service Technicians, we offer a comprehensive salary and field expense package equivalent to the status of the chosen candidate.
